In 2011, Assemblywoman Fiona Ma attended a screening of Sin by Silence. The result? The Sin by Silence Bill that gives voice to the women who remain trapped behind prison walls. They are lost in the system, and AB 593 gives them the opportunity seek the justice their cases deserve.
